LEARN ABOUT OUR GUIDED TOURS

The Remlinger Heritage Educational Guided Tour

Come and join us for a fun day of learning on the farm! The Remlinger Heritage tour takes approximately an hour for the educational portion, and available for large groups during our Fall Tours. (Reservations are required. See below.) Then enjoy the Family Fun Park at your own pace and go home with a free Pumpkin you pick out of the Pumpkin Patch.

The Remlinger Heritage Tour at Remlinger Farms makes learning so much fun!

  • Animal Barnyard - Lessons taught in the animal barn adhere to next generation science standards where kids participate in an unforgettable educational adventure! Our farm animals offer a hands-on experience where kids can learn about the vital role these animals play in our daily lives. From understanding where our food comes from to discovering the unique behaviors and characteristics of each animal, children will engage in fun, interactive lessons that connect them with the farm. You may want to wear your farmer’s overalls because you will practically be an expert by the time you leave!

*Note: Hand washing stations are provided outside of the animal petting areas -- please have everyone use them to help protect yourself and the children from possible exposure to naturally occurring bacteria potentially present with live animals.

  • Pioneer Home - You’ll be able to walk through an authentically furnished pioneer home and listen to our own Pioneer Woman explain how the first settlers survived in the West. You will get to hear all about how the early settlers came to the west, learned to grow crops and created tools to survive on the harsh frontier.
  • Steam Train - Did you know that the steam trains played a very large role in the development of modern society. Many early settlers worked their way out west laying tracks and paving the way to transport machinery and people, forever changing the face of industry in America. Take a ride on our authentic steam train and transport yourself back to the days of the pioneers, winding through the trees and along the river. Imagine yourself discovering new land that you had never seen before!
  • Unlimited Play at our Family Fun Park - After the educational tour, kids will have a blast exploring and playing in our exciting park. They’ll race up Tunnel Mountain and dig with the sand diggers. There are plenty of thrilling rides to enjoy with friends, including a classic Carousel, Mini Ferris Wheel, Spinning Barrels, the Flying Pumpkin, a Jump Pad, and a climb on the Inflatable Truck. Whether your group wants to spend an additional 30 minutes or up to two hours, there’s plenty of adventure and endless fun waiting for everyone!

When you arrive at the farm for your reserved tour time, check in at the Customer Service Desk.
